Rita
Rita has worked with Dr. Weiss as a Dental Assistant since 1986. Working as one with the doctors, she seemingly has telepathic ability to know the next step for all of the procedures. Besides troubleshooting the inevitable computer issues that occur in our office, Rita coordinates operations with the laboratories and shipping companies. Her sharpness and boundless energy keeps the office running smoothly, and her concern for our patients’ comfort and outcome is unparalleled and recognized by all. Rita’s skills and talents are respected by all. We are lucky to have her!
Rita is married to her soulmate Glen, for 37 years, and has 4 children. She has one son, Eric, who just retired from the Navy. Eric is married and has a daughter, Destiny, who is 16 years old. Additionally, Rita has a stepdaughter, Melanie, who is married with a daughter, Brooklin, who is also 16. Photography and gardening are Rita’s passions, and examples of these photographs can be seen throughout Dr. Weiss’s office.
Gale
Gale has worked with Dr. Weiss since 1989, manning the front desk with skill and care. She goes above and beyond in welcoming all of our patients to the office, ensuring that each patient is comfortable and prepared for their visit. She takes the time and energy to help patients maximize their insurance benefits, and is sensitive to our patient’s needs during their visit. Gale’s loyalty, experience, and hard work are the qualities anyone would love to have at the “gate” of their office. Gale knew whatever career she embarked on would include helping people. Working for Dr. Weiss and Dr. Goldwater has given her that opportunity. Every day she’s excited to come to work and to treat people with dignity and respect. Gale is a valued member of our team.
Gale and her husband Robert have two children, Seth and Shari, and three grandchildren, Rebekah, Sophia, and Benjamin. Spending time with their family brings great joy to their lives. When Gale isn’t spending time with her wonderful family, she loves to go on cruises and enjoy game night with friends, especially Mahjong.
Courtney
Courtney is a graduate of Manor College’s Dental Hygiene Program, and has been practicing dental hygiene since 2014. Courtney is a shining star in our practice. She is very thorough and able to adjust her treatment technique to each patient—offering clear communication and the gentlest dental cleaning possible. Courtney created virtual smiles on the computer for patients who are considering improving their appearance, so they can see a preview of their smile makeover before making any final decisions. Every day we hear patients say that Courtney gave “the best cleaning I ever had.” Professionally, what she finds most fulfilling is when patients take her recommendations and adapt them to their homecare regimen. She can always see the improvement on their next visit!
Courtney has been married to her husband, Rob, since 2018. They have two dogs — Piper (a pit/border collie) and Max (a German shepherd/husky). When she’s not hanging out with friends and family, Courtney loves to travel, go to the beach, and read.
Neika
Neika joined our office this year with 8 years experience as a Dental Assistant, three of which were with Dr. Goldwater. Dr. Goldwater was very excited that Neika joined our practice, describing her as "one of the best Dental Assistants I've ever worked with." Neika brings a smile every day and is exceptionally particular when it comes to aesthetics.
Outside of the office Neika enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, Lilly and Leeah. She also like to garden, cook, and take walks on the beach and trails. In her spare time Neika is a hair stylist.
Jon
After finishing a teaching career, Jon found a perfect next fit in becoming an office manager. He first gained dental practice experience working for his family in New York City, and now he's helping keep things in order in our office. Jon is excited to help maintain the high quality experience that patients have always had.
When not working Jon can be found either at home with his family, or in the outdoors playing tennis, biking, or hiking.
