What Can I Expect My First Visit?

For your first visit at the office of Dr. Michael Weiss, our front office staff will warmly greet you and invite you to help yourself to coffee, tea, or water at our beverage station as you complete new patient forms.

A dental hygienist will take you into a treatment room to get acquainted with you and discuss any issues or concerns you have about your oral health. Dr. Weiss will introduce himself to you.

Exam and cleaning

Your one-hour comprehensive appointment will include:

• Digital x-rays
• CariVu digital cavity detection
• Examination of your teeth and gums
• Dental cleaning

After your exam, Dr. Weiss or Dr. Goldwater will discuss the status of your oral health, as well as any issues and your treatment options.

Smile Makeover Consultation

If you don’t need a dental cleaning at this time and just want to discuss the options for improving your smile, the doctor will spend 30 to 40 minutes with you in a consultation.
